My slides/photos are damaged or in bad condition, can you still scan them?We can't deny that this makes it harder for us to get good scans but we will take your slides/photos in any condition you like. If there are minor repairs to make, like a slide mount is unstuck then it helps if you can repair them before sending. If the photos/slides are in very bad condition then we may have to make a small charge for the repairs we have had to make. We don't recommend cleaning your slides or photos before sending them unless you have this done by a qualified restorer. We don't clean them ourselves but we will blast them with compressed air to dislodge any loose dust. We also use the digital ICE system that removes many scratches and small marks from the scans. Most repairs for damaged photos are best done after the scan has been made on a computer. We can do this for you if you want us to.
