Why should I bother to get my slides scanned?

Slides deteriorate with time and are liable to get damaged whereas once scanned to disk they can be preserved as if they were taken yesterday.
Slides on disk can easily be duplicated (not so easy with slides themselves) allowing family members and friends to have their own copies.
Digital photos can be printed cheaply and easily (we can arrange this for you as well).
Photos on disk can be used in many ways e.g. digital photo frames, slide shows, played on DVD player, etc.
Photos on a CD or DVD can be easily stored and preserved for future generations

Why should I get you to scan my slides?

Not all scanning services are equal.

You want to get the very best value. Your slides are important and you will want to get the best results you can. We make individual adjustments for each slide - we don't just let a machine do it.

We keep the prices low by making use of fast scanning equipment, having a carefully worked out workflow and through capitalizing on a great deal of experience. We are then able to pass on these savings to you so we can offer a high quality service at bulk scanning prices.

We also know that your photos are very important to you. We always take care of your slides when they are with us and during the scanning process. We also ensure that the digital scans are saved on good quality DVDs/CDs.

We scan your slides as if they were our own.

What are the options?

The options for scanning slides can seem overwhelming. We understand this and try to make things as simple as possible. You tell us what you want to use the scans for and we will advise on the best way to achieve your goal.

We like to help as much as we can and so encourage you to contact us and ask as many questions as you like.

We can save your scans in any way you like. You have the standard options of DVD or CD but we can save to memory cards, memory sticks, etc.

You can also choose to have your slides saved as TIFF or JPEG files. There is more on this the the FAQ section.

We have a satisfaction guarantee and you only pay for scans that you like.

Discounts available for large number of slides, please ask for a quote.

How do I get started?

Contact us and tell us what you need doing using the order page (to be honest you can use any of the contact pages - we don't mind).
We will send you an email with the address you need to send your scans to.
Package up your slides and send them to us - we will let you know when they have arrived.
We will then scan your photos and post some smaller versions of the finished scans on the Internet for you to see.
You tell us of any scans that you don't want to pay for (we will probably give you the options of rescanning them but you still don't pay if we can't get it to your requirements).
Once you have paid for your scans then we package up and send back your originals and your new scans.
